UFUQ LOCAL BRANCH REP ELECTIONS - UPDATE

As stated in Code 2, Volume 35, Number 28, UFUQ Rule 41 requires that elections for local branch representatives occur within six months of the SCM election declaration (the SCM results declaration was issued 4 May 2021)

This Code 2 advises you that the formal Notice of Election and Nomination Forms are now available (see link below).

I remind you that the UFUQ has so far set the following dates for these elections –

NOMINATIONS OPEN
26 August

NOMINATIONS CLOSE
23 September

CANDIDATE WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE
30 September

BALLOT OPENS
14 October

BALLOT CLOSES
11 November

HOW TO NOMINATE:
Please click here to access a list of the positions that are to be filled, and importantly to access the nomination form. If you cannot access the internet, the UFUQ state office can provide you with a copy of the list and the nomination form, but you MUST lodge your nomination form with the Deputy Returning Officer at retofficer@hallpayne.com.au, and please remember that the UFUQ cannot accept nominations.

NOTE:
All nominations must be lodged DIRECTLY with the Deputy Returning Officer at 
retofficer@hallpayne.com.au and must include the signatures of the nominees and nominators. Please ensure that your nomination can be clearly read.

REMINDER: UFUQ HOTSPOT APP – TIME TO DOWNLOAD OR UPDATE

I would like to remind members to either install or update your UFUQ HOTSPOT app on your smart phone.

Communication is constantly published to your emails, and to the app, and ensuring the app is installed and/or updated will allow you to have access to all information your state office puts out.

For current users:
Please ensure that you have notifications turned on for the app.

For new users:
Please follow these instructions to access the UFUQ app.
1. Go to your app store icon on your iPhone or Android device and type in the search menu “UFUQ hotspot”.
2. Download the app to your phone.
3. Enter your username (badge number) and password (1234).
