CA16 – Update

As I have previously reported much ongoing work is being done to fully implement the changes arising from content in your new certified agreement.

Here is an update on the status of the remaining work.

23 Health and wellbeing
Implementation due by 30 June 2019.
Work yet to commence.

33 Shift swaps
Implementation on certification.
Work on a state wide policy and procedural documents is ongoing.

48 FFF & RAAP
Implementation on certification.
Work on what is included for payment and on when the work can be performed is ongoing.

54 BA HAZMAT
Implementation within 3 months (31 August 2017).
Work on eligibility and numbers of each level of classification is ongoing.
QFES has advised they will back pay those who are determined eligible to receive the allowance to 1 September 2017.

55 SO professional development
Implementation on certification.
Work yet to commence.

56 Paid travel time
Implementation on 1 January 2018.
Work yet to commence.

57 Temporary relocation of station
Implementation by 30 June 2019.
Work yet to commence.

72 FireCom (e) Z shifts & (g) annual leave
Implementation by 30 June 2019, however the content for both 72 (e) and (g) are expected to be implemented well before that deadline.
Specifically, regarding (e) Z Shifts, the UFUQ is awaiting confirmation that the agreed process for accrual and debiting has been endorsed by QFES and as soon as this occurs, the documents will be distributed to all fire communication officers and for (g) Annual Leave, work is yet to commence but will immediately after the Z Shift process is implemented.

83 FireCom part time hours
Implementation by 30 June 2019.
Work yet to commence.

84 FireCom rostering review
Implementation by 30 June 2019.
Work yet to commence.
