In this edition - Today, after some months of asking for an update, your union finally received some information on the ‘Field Mobility for Emergency Services’ app, which QFES intends to roll out as ‘FAST Qld’ (frontline activation support tool for Queensland).

In this edition - Despite many months of requests, the project team responsible for the development of the new availability and tracking app designed for use by auxiliary firefighters has chosen to say nothing and deliberately keep your union in the dark about the app.
CA Updates : CA22 - Update 20 - AGREEMENT CERTIFIED AND OPERATIVE
In this edition - I am very pleased to report that a process your union started in October 2021 with the gathering of ideas for our log of claims has reached an important milestone today with the QIRC certification of your new agreement.

In this edition - I, along with the UFUQ State Office staff and many colleagues from across BR, SWR, SER and beyond will attend the memorial service for our fallen friend and colleague FF Izzy Nash.
CA Updates : CA22 Update 19 - QIRC HEARING DATE SET
In this edition - The QIRC has notified parties to CA22 that the hearing to certify the new agreement will be on Wednesday 24 May 2023.
