In this edition - Sixteen years ago, 343 New York firefighters made the ultimate sacrifice. Firefighters continue to put themselves in harm’s way to protect the lives of others. Today, people across the world will pause and recall the events of September 11 2001 and reflect on the sacrifice those New York firefighters made.

In this edition - As I reported to you on 19 June 2017, your union is working with QFES and QSS to get all the new parts of CA16 that – a) create or modify an entitlement, and b) are already operational implemented appropriately, and in effect, including all relevant supporting procedures, forms, or otherwise.


The United Firefighters' Union in Queensland represents Urban firefighters, both career, part-time, Scientific Officers and Communication Officers.
